Jeremy Gabriel

I come from the small college town of Brockport in western New York (between Rochester & Buffalo). I was brought up in the country and raised in a log cabin that my parents built. I have a family of do-it-yourself people and was fortunate enough to learn quite a bit from my family.

My past includes being the Director of Technology for a school district in NY, technical support and training for the New York State Education Department, project management and installations for IBM, and finally a software trainer that brought me to California.  I lived in San Francisco for 8 years before moving to Palm Springs full-time in 2011. Before moving to Palm Springs I spent 7 years visiting for long weekends and vacations, which made me fall in love with the desert.  I have a Boston Terrier, Max, that I proudly spoil way too much!

I have always been a do-it-myself type of guy.  I met David and found out that he is a lot like me but even more talented in many aspects.  So we teamed up and started doing handyman work, property management, cleaning, landscape design, and interior decorating. We have done two complete condo gut and remodels within the past year.  I am enjoying what I am doing so much. I get to meet new people all the time and help them start their vacations on the right foot.  I have a great love for Palm Springs architecture and truly enjoy being able to help maintain beautiful properties.

I was born and raised in the LA / Inland Empire area.  I went to work for Montgomery Ward (that’s showing my age) in college as a part time sales associate and worked my way up to district visual manager.  When Montgomery Ward started to fail, I was recruited to JC Penney Outlet Division, which took me to Dallas and Houston, Texas. After spending 10 years in Texas I had the opportunity to return to California and moved to Palm Springs. My family and I have been coming to the desert for as long as I can remember. We always vacationed, spent weekends, and played in Palm Springs. We often had picnics and swim in the Salton Sea as well.  I have many memories of sitting on a patio with my sisters while my parents showed a client a home.  We would just get settled in a vacation home and my parents would sell it and buy another.  Home projects, repairs, common handyman services, property management, concierge services, and customer service run in my blood.  I have had several homes of my own that I have completely remodeled. I seem to always buy the “fixer-upper”.  My current home is a 1959 flat roof midcentury home that I bought 12 years ago and have been working on ever since to restore it back to as close to original as possible. My next goal is to buy a Wexler.  When I met Jeremy we just clicked. We are a lot alike and both love the desert.  We decided one day to team up and start a business that would help the desert communities.  Jeremy is not just my business partner he has also become my best friend. We both have a love for architecture and we’re in the right place for it! Palm Springs has some awesome homes in the desert. I am looking forward to helping you maintain your property and provide an exceptional experience for you and your guests.  Our motto is “We’re taking care when you are not there.”
